For a Filipina mother, it was fulfilment of a lifelong ambition to wear a graduation cap and gown. Thanks to her son, her dream came true, with a graduation photo that went viral on social media.
Joshua Andres posted online a photo of his mother, Josephine, wearing his graduation gown as his best possible way of thanking her mother for supporting his studies.
Andres expressed his joy in seeing his mother Josephine proudly wearing graduation gown, which also symbolizes the latter reaping the harvest of her sacrifices.
He ended the post by reminding others to always find a way to make their parents proud. He added that it is the young graduates’ responsibility to give back to their parents for their hard work.

Me:Picturan kita Ma! Dali!!!
Mama: Wait mag aayos muna ko.
Kahit ikaw yung grumaduate mas masaya at mas feel yan ng magulang mo. Make them proud at ibalik lahat ng naitulong nila sayo. Kasi itinaguyod nila ang magiging bukas mo. It’s time to give them a good and happy life.”
