Sen. Robin Padilla topped Pulse Asia’s latest voter preference survey for the 2028 senatorial elections, emerging as the early frontrunner with 48.4%.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto ranked second with 47.9%, followed by broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 43.9%, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano with 43.2%, and Sen. Loren Legarda with 40.3%.
Also making the survey’s early “Magic 12” were former Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 35.6%, Sen. Nancy Binay with 32.4%, Education Secretary Sonny Angara with 27.2%, Sen. Mark Villar with 26.1%, broadcaster Ben Tulfo with 20.7%, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada with 19.5%, and television host Willie Revillame with 19%.
Outside the projected winning circle but within striking distance were Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero with 17.2%, Mike Defensor and former Sen. Mar Roxas with 17.1% each, Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos with 17%, and actor Mark Lapid with 16.9%.
The survey was conducted from June 28 to July 3, 2026.
