The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines has been recognized by the Department of Finance (DOF) for the third consecutive year for its dividend remittance to the National Government, turning over ₱40.18 million, equivalent to 75% of its 2025 net earnings, to the National Treasury.
The recognition was conferred during GOCC Day 2026 at Malacañang Palace, highlighting TPB’s commitment to sound financial management, transparency, and responsible stewardship of public funds.

The award was presented by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., together with Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go, and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) Chairperson Atty. Marius P. Corpus.
Accepting the recognition on behalf of TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles was Teresita D. Landan, Acting Head of the Office of the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Marketing and Promotions.
TPB’s dividend remittance totaled ₱40,177,750.50, marking a 154.88% increase from the previous year’s contribution. The amount represents 75% of the agency’s ₱53,570,334.00 net earnings for 2025 and will help fund government programs and essential public services.
The agency said the milestone underscores how government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) can create public value while fulfilling their mandate to promote economic growth. Beyond tourism marketing, TPB noted that prudent fiscal management enables the agency to contribute directly to national development through dividend remittances.

The recognition marks TPB’s third consecutive year of receiving the DOF citation, reflecting the agency’s continued efforts to balance tourism promotion with fiscal responsibility and good governance.
