Actress Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co voluntarily signed a prenuptial agreement before their civil wedding, the couple’s lawyer said.
In a statement, lawyer Joey Garcia said reports claiming there were disagreements or unresolved issues over the prenuptial agreement were not true.
Garcia said the agreement was “duly signed, executed and entered into freely and voluntarily” by both Alonzo and Co without any issue.
He also confirmed that the couple was married in a civil ceremony at around 7 p.m. on July 13 at Makati City Hall.
According to Garcia, the wedding was solemnized by Nancy Binay.
Binay had earlier confirmed that she officiated the couple’s civil wedding.
