Bahrain’s Defence Force said Sunday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the kingdom.
In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Defence Force accused Iran of continuing what it described as a systematic campaign of unlawful missile and drone attacks against civilians in Bahrain.
The military said the deliberate use of missiles and drones against civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement did not immediately provide details on the number of missiles or drones intercepted, nor did it report casualties or damage from the attacks.
