The Filipino Social Club (FILSOC) Dubai celebrated a significant milestone as it marked seven years of serving and uniting the Filipino community in the United Arab Emirates.
Founded by a group of dedicated Filipino community leaders, FILSOC has grown into one of Dubai’s recognized Filipino organizations, promoting unity, volunteerism, and community welfare among overseas Filipinos.
The organization traces its roots to its founding members, whose vision was to establish a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit association that would serve as a platform for community engagement and support.
FILSOC was officially licensed on June 24, 2019, and continues to operate in compliance with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates. The organization functions under Federal Decree-Law No. 50 of 2023 and Dubai Law No. 12 of 2017, maintaining its official office in Dubai.
As a registered public association, FILSOC is licensed and regulated by the Community Development Authority (CDA) of the Government of Dubai and the UAE Ministry of Community and Empowerment.
Over the years, the organization has spearheaded various initiatives aimed at promoting community welfare, cultural engagement, and social responsibility among Filipinos living and working in the UAE.
As it celebrates its seventh anniversary, FILSOC reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening ties within the Filipino community and continuing its mission of service, inclusivity, and community development.
