Dubai Police has launched a wide-ranging initiative to combat financial fraud, partnering with more than 40 government, semi-government, and private sector entities.
The campaign aims to strengthen public awareness and prevent fraud schemes, particularly those using digital platforms to access personal and financial information.
Officials warned that scammers often impersonate legitimate institutions to obtain sensitive data, stressing that no government or financial entity would request confidential banking details from the public.
The initiative targets employees, families, and communities across the emirate, promoting vigilance and education as key defenses against fraud.
Authorities also encouraged the public to report suspicious activities through official channels, including the Dubai Police app, hotline, and cybercrime platforms, as part of broader efforts to curb financial crimes.
