The Filipino Dentists Organization in Qatar (FDOQ) has elected a new leadership team for 2026, marking a fresh chapter for the organization.
The elections took place during FDOQ’s first general assembly of the year on Jan. 23 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Doha. During the event, the organization also reviewed its constitution and by-laws, giving new members and incoming officers a clear understanding of its vision and mission.
Outgoing President Dr. Dolores Laderas provided an overview of the organization, while three-term Past President Dr. Christian Marvin dela Cruz reviewed the constitution and by-laws and oversaw the elections.


Dr. Rosanna Barrera discussed priority projects and endorsed ongoing initiatives to the new leadership.

Dr. Merianne Jalandoni-Ona, the newly elected president, pledged to continue existing programs and outlined her strategic plans for 2026, focusing on the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Dentistry, the Career Simulation Seminar Workshop (CSSW), and continuing professional development for dental practitioners.
