The Dubai Police named its first-ever female mounted police officer. Captain Halima Al Saadi has become the first woman to join the mounted police force.
Halima’s job includes patrolling various areas of the emirates and seizing wanted vehicles, arresting criminals, and issuing fines against violators.
Dubai Police’s first female officer shared that she is very happy and proud to be part of the police force. She also says that she has been fond about horse riding.

Halima said that apart from doing what she loves, she will alsp be doing it for the sake of enhancing the safety and security of the emirate.
Halima said that the Dubai Police have been supportive in empowering women in their ranks. She has been with them for 23 years.

“Dubai Police always sought women’s inclusion into police work in terms of security work and community happiness,” Halima added.
Halima has participated in various equestrian competitions and conferences.
She also used to work at the General Department of Airports Security and worked at the Anti-Cybercrime Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation before joining the Dubai police. (TDT)
