Filipino Ehrlich Ocampo drew a standing ovation and four yeses from the judges through a flawless performance that ensured him advancing to the next round of America’s Got Talent recently
The judges — Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell – praised the artist. While Sofia noted that watching him was fun, Howie said he had not seen anything like it in the past.

However, when Heidi declared Ehrlich as “mesmerizing,” the Filipino artiste replied that he was her fan and Heidi then said that she was his fan.
Simon Cowell described his act as amazing — considering the guts to perform and the hours spent on perfecting it.
Earlier, Ehrlich – who discovered the magical art of levitation wand or ‘leviwand’ in early 2013 — told the judges that he had given up everything to travel to the USA for showcasing his talent on AGT and drew inspiration from his friends and family’s support in the face of people thinking he was crazy.

Describing himself as a “unique flow artist” who is combining dance abilities with the beautiful art of poi spinning and levitation wand, Ehrlich said he is developing a style that maximizes the body’s movements, making the prop an extension of his dance.
Ehrlich said that he has been spinning poi since 2010, continuously exploring the fusion of flow circles and dance lines, and now has evolved from a simple spinner to a stunning performer who uses acrobatic movements and technical dance moves with poi spinning. (AW)
