FAQ: How can I check my visa validity/expiry date?

UAE residents and tourists who wish to check the validity of their visas can proceed to the webpage from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) at: https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/default.html#/fileValidity
Tourist/visit visa holders can key in their passport information and select ‘visa’ on the type. Residents can also simply key in their passport info and select ‘residency’ to learn about the status and validity of their visas.

The UAE has amended the visa regulation that previously allowed tourists and residents whose visas have expired after March 1 to stay legally in the country until December 31, 2020.
Depending on the visa type and validity, residents may have up to three months to renew their documents, while holders of tourist/visit visas that have expired after March 1 have one month to renew.

Meanwhile for cancelled visas, the grace period is as indicated in the contract. Individuals with cancelled visa after March 1 and have exceeded the grace period after the cancellation will be fined if they did not leave the country nor have their status amended.
Individuals with queries about their visa status and overstaying concerns can contact: 800453, seven days a week, from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM, except during public holidays.
