Senator Sonny Angara has donated his salary to help the country fight against the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
Angara revealed this move after a netizen challenged lawmakers to give their salaries to the people amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.
The senator was forced to reveal his gesture and said that he made the donation quietly.
The senator responded to the user and said that he did it without fanfare.
Angara has been tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19 last week. The senator said that he is recovering from the disease.
