Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was among the first in the UAE to get first dibs at Samsung’s latest flagship phone – the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
While most of his followers know that Sheikh Hamdan leans more towards Apple for his choice of products, his post came as a pleasant surprise for over 7.8 million of his followers on his Instagram handle, faz3.
Sheikh Hamdan thanked the South Korean tech giant for the new phone on his Instagram post.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold sports a 4.6 inch HD+ Super AMOLED screen at the outset. As it unfolds, the main display has 7.3 inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED screen that offers vivid, vibrant colors.
The main, rear camera has 3 lenses including a 16 MP Ultra Wide Camera, a 12MP wide angle camera, as well as another 12MP telephoto camera. For selfie lovers, the front camera has a 10MP shooter with 8MP RGB Depth.
Users also don’t have to worry about both memory and battery too much as the Samsung Galaxy Fold is equipped with 12GB RAM with 512 internal storage as well as a 4380 mAh battery.
The phone is expected to cost higher than its current retail value at around Dh 7,300 from other countries when it launches here in the UAE this April 26.
