Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio did not mince words in attacking Vice President Leni Robredo’s integrity after the latter’s comment on “honesty requirement” among the candidates for the 2019 elections.
Inday Sara said Robredo’s honesty has been in question since her first day in office, citing the electoral protest for massive fraud during the 2016 elections,
“She is not called fake VP for no reason,” Duterte said in a statement.
The Davao City mayor also said that Robredo has been trying hard to copy her late husband, but “has failed at every turn”.
She also opened up rumors about the vice president’s alleged relationship with a married man.
“The reason why good moral character is not a requirement to run for vice president is because we have so many Leni Robredos in this world,” she said.
The presidential daughter’s tirade came following Robredo’s remark that honesty is a “huge factor” in determining one’s integrity.
