Mandaluyong hospital’s chief nurse dies due to COVID-19

Another health worker in the Philippines succumbed to coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Manny Pacheco, 62, died on Wednesday afternoon due to COVID-19, the hospital administrator of Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC) said.
Pacheco, reported GMA News, dedicated more than 30 years of his life to serve at the hospital.
He became the chief nurse of the hospital in 2016.
The Department of Health (DOH) said 252 medical workers across the country were diagnosed with COVID-19
DOH added that 152 of which are doctors while 63 are nurses
The disease also claimed the lives of 12 healthcare workers.
