Pinay from Cambodia nabbed at NAIA with Php40.8 million shabu 

The Customs Bureau at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport  (NAIA) Terminal 3 yesterday arrested  a Filipina found with six kilograms of crystal meth or shabu in her luggage.

The estimated cost of shabu seized in her belongings is approximately Php40.8 million, officials said.

Authorities identified the suspect as 28-year-old Ruzol Marie Guillermo. She’s a Marikina resident and has just gone back from Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Guillermo was on board  Cebu Pacific flight5J-258. Customs officials arrested her after the X-ray scan showed images of the suspected drugs.

The shabu was placed in two handbags inside her luggage which was disguised as tea bags.

The woman  was now turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for further investigation.
