BRP Francisco Dagohoy ready to send relief goods to Batanes quake survivors

Multi-mission offshore vessel (MMOV) 5002 BRP Francisco Dagohoy (MMOV 5002) manned by the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources’ (DA-BFAR) is now ready to deliver relief goods to residents and survivors affected by the earthquake in Itbayat, Batanes last Thursday.

Aside from BFAR Regional Offices, the Philippine Red Cross, and Office of the Vice President donated the relief goods. Packs include bottled water, canned goods, instant noodles, packs of coffee, beddings, and personal hygiene items.

The vessel is currently docked at Pier 13, Muelle de San Francisco, Port Area in Manila and is still accepting donations until tonight, July 31.
