Travelers advised to brace for holiday rush at Dubai airports

Are you planning to go on vacation this month or in August? Brace yourself with the surge of passengers in all three airports in the UAE.

An expected number of 16 million travelers are set to fly in and out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) starting this week.

Airlines and even travel agents and agencies are advising travelers to plan your schedule ahead of time.

Emirates Airline encourages its customers to arrive three hours before your scheduled departure because of this anticipated surge of passengers.

The airline reminded passengers that they can physically check-in at the airport as early as 24 hours before their departure in order to avoid any delays.

If traveling with the family, the airline has dedicated family counters in the check-in zone.

As for your travel itinerary, Dubai-based travel agent Hemant Kalyani of Satguru travels said good planning is a “key” to a happy vacation.

Other than DXB, the airport in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will also be expecting flocks of travelers for the holidays.
