Manila, Philippines– A woman lying unconscious with a stab wound on her chest was found at the Metro Rail Transit MRT-3 Boni Avenue Station.
Transport officials said in a tweet that the woman was still unidentified as of presstime and that they were giving her the necessary medical assistance. She was found Monday, 2 pm at the station’s south-wing side.
“The DOTr-MRT3 Safety and Security Unit personnel also responded to the location, together with the PNP-Regional Mobile Force Battalion (PNP-RMFB). The team of Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) and Mandaluyong PNP also went to the site to conduct an initial assessment,” the initial report said.
Transport authorities add that the police are now investigating the matter.
