UAE gold price drops for 2nd straight day; 18K at Dh119.25

The price of gold in the UAE dropped for the second day in a row giving buyers an opportunity to score gold at a cheaper rate.

According to Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, the prices of different gold types in the country dropped compared to yesterday’s rate.

Today, the prices of 24K, 22K, 21K, and 18K gold are at Dh155.25, Dh146, Dh139.25, and Dh119.25, respectively. This is lower than yesterday’s rate at Dh155.75 for 24K, Dh146.25 for 22K, Dh139.25 for 21K, and Dh119.50 for 18K.

The decline in the price of gold comes after the continuous increase in its price over the past week.

The prices vary depending on the purity of gold and the market it is traded in.
