KathNiel fans had a treat on Saturday, September 8, after a man proposed to his girlfriend minutes before the movie “The How of Us” started playing in a cinema in Maguindanao.
Taking to Facebook, Haifah ZinLorh Egal-Padilla shared that they were waiting for the film to start in Alnor Cinema in Maguindanao when photos of a woman were projected on the screen.
She thought that Kathryn Bernardo’s role was inspired by the woman in the photos.
Meanwhile, KathNiel fans are in awe for the grand gesture. “Iba nga naman nagagawa ng KathNiel,” said one netizen.
“Sobrang effort ginawa ni kuya. Lucky girl,” wrote another comment.
The uploader congratulated the couple and wished for their love to last forever like the movie’s characters. The post has garnered over 600 shares as of posting.
