Dubai Municipality reminds residents to avoid throwing chewing gum on roads and other public places.
Violators can face fines of up to Dh500 as per local order No.11 of 2003, which seeks to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic of the emirate.
The order also aims to teach residents the importance of keeping their areas clean.
“Avoid throwing bubble gums on the roads to avoid a violation penalty of 500 dirhams based on the local order No. 11 of 2003,” the advisory read.
تجنب إلقاء بقايا اللبان على الطرقات.
