The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Wednesday, August 29, said 5,000 jobs in various sectors have been opened on the labor department’s internet-based job and applicant matching system, PhilJobNet.
In a report, the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) said the week’s top vacancy is for promo salesperson, with 3,910 available slots for grabs. Other vacancies are for sales clerk with 342, salesman with 329, retail trade salesman with 214, and sales associate professional with 164.
Vacancies for call center agents ranked second with 3,265.
Other employment opportunities include domestic helper – 842, staff nurse – 590, cashier – 485, construction laborer – 467, customer service assistant – 457, and service crew – 434.
There are also vacancies for public health nurse – 297, cook – 237, bagger – 220, financial/accounts specialist – 199, housemaid – 198, delivery driver – 189, warehouse helper – 175, and administrative assistant – 173.
