Three UAE expats scored big prizes in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Promotion draw.
Piao Ma, a Dutch national, won $1 million (Dh3.67 million) after Dubai Duty Free officials drafted his winning ticket at Dubai International Airport in Concourse A on Tuesday.
The winner purchased his ticket, number 1722 in Series 248, online at dubaidutyfree.com.
Another expat, Vijay Bhatia, ticket number 1222 holder, won a Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe in Series 1659.
Bhatia, an Indian national, said he has tried his luck in Dubai Duty Free’s promotion several times.
“He received the news while enjoying his summer holiday in London with his family,” Dubai Duty Free said.
Another Dubai based-Indian, name withheld, also won a BMW S 1000 bike in Series 309.
Last month, two Indian expatriates won $1 million apiece in the promo’s series no. 244 and series no. 225.
Anyone could be a millionaire with Dubai Duty Free’s Millennium Millionaire Promotion by purchasing a ticket worth Dh1,000 through their online website.
