The Department of Migrant Workers said Friday that 10,580 overseas Filipino workers, other overseas Filipinos and their dependents have been safely repatriated from conflict-affected areas in the Middle East as of July.
In a statement, the DMW said repatriation efforts remain a priority as tensions persist across the region.
The figure includes the latest batch of 50 Filipinos repatriated from Kuwait, who recently arrived in the Philippines.
DMW Undersecretary Felicitas Bay said repatriation operations are continuing, although the number of returning Filipinos has declined compared with April and May.
The department also reported the successful return of nine Filipino seafarers from Lebanon. The seafarers, who served aboard the M/V Hawk III, had been stranded after their vessel was detained in October 2025 before being caught in the escalating conflict in the region.
According to the DMW, another 11 Filipino seafarers are expected to return once their flight arrangements are finalized.
The agency said it continues to coordinate with Philippine Migrant Workers Offices across Gulf Cooperation Council member states to respond to repatriation requests and other welfare concerns.
The DMW also urged Filipinos in affected areas to remain in safe locations, follow advisories issued by host governments and rely only on official updates from Philippine embassies, Migrant Workers Offices and other government agencies.
