Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Tuesday that Sen. Rodante Marcoleta will not be required to remove his wig when authorities take his mugshot following his arrest on plunder charges.
Remulla said law enforcement officers would respect Marcoleta’s appearance during standard booking procedures.
“Kung anuman ang kanyang kalagayan sa kanyang buhok ay hindi ho namin wawalanghiyain,” Remulla said.
Marcoleta was arrested after the Sandiganbayan issued a warrant in connection with the plunder case filed by the Office of the Ombudsman.
