The Ministry of Interior has alerted the public to scam messages falsely claiming to be from the ministry, aimed at obtaining personal information.
According to a ministry statement, these messages accuse recipients of legal violations and urge them to follow urgent instructions under the threat of penalties or legal action.
Authorities emphasized that the messages are not connected to the ministry and are part of ongoing attempts to defraud residents.
The ministry advised the public not to respond to such messages, avoid sharing personal or financial information, and refrain from clicking on suspicious links.
Residents were also urged to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information, as part of efforts to combat cyber fraud.
