Local airlines have assured the public that they have secured sufficient jet fuel to continue operations despite global supply concerns linked to the Middle East conflict.
AirAsia Philippines said it continues to coordinate with suppliers and industry partners, while Philippine Airlines confirmed it has enough fuel for both domestic and international flights, including long-haul routes. Cebu Pacific also said its fuel supply is sufficient until June.
However, airlines have suspended several flights to the Middle East. Philippine Airlines has halted flights to Riyadh until April 8, while Cebu Pacific has cancelled flights to and from Dubai until April 20.
Airlines said affected passengers may opt to rebook, request refunds, or convert their tickets into travel credits.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation as carriers adjust operations in response to evolving conditions in the region.
