The majority of remote court sessions in the UAE will become permanent by the end of the year.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, made the announcement on Sunday.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed said the move is in line with the government’s plan to make the judicial system of the UAE the best and the fairest in the world.
“The UAE has succeeded in adopting remote litigation systems during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said His Highness on social media.

“Today we directed the Ministry of Justice to have more than 80 per cent of remote litigation sessions permanently before the end of 2021. Our goal is to be the fastest, best and fairest in judicial services,”Sheikh Mohammed furthered. (RA)
