‘Back to zero’: Former TV host Herlene ‘Hipon Girl’ budol shares struggles after showbiz stint

Former TV host Herlene Budol or more popularly known as ‘Hipon Girl’ admitted that she has nothing left from her savings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“AYOKO nang magpakita sa pamilya ko kasi nahihiya ako, back to zero kami,” she said in an interview with Toni Gonzaga.

Herlene said that she lost all savings after losing her job in the variety show ‘Wowowin’ due to the pandemic.

She said she had saved Php100,000 from Wowowin but it’s all gone due to the crisis.

Back to zero kami,” she added.

Herlene only lasted in show business for two years.

May kumuha sa akin iba kapag tinanggal ako rito, pero zero totally,” she said.

For now, Herlene is trying several rackets to make ends meet.

In the end Toni promised that the Youtube earnings from that interview will be given to Herlene.
