Thousands of Filipinos joined the White Ribbon March along EDSA on Sunday, calling for truth, accountability, and justice in a gathering organized by religious groups and civil society organizations.
The Quezon City Police District estimated the crowd at around 3,600 as of 3:30 p.m., with more participants continuing to arrive at the People Power Monument.
Marchers walked from the EDSA Shrine to the monument, carrying white ribbons and calling for reforms, honest leadership, and greater accountability in government.
The march followed a Holy Mass at the EDSA Shrine attended by church leaders, advocates, and supporters.
Among those who joined the event were Makabayan president Liza Maza, former lawmakers Teddy Casiño and France Castro, and Kontra Daya convenor Danilo Arao.
Organizers said the activity forms part of a broader movement encouraging Filipinos to speak out against corruption and poor governance.
The march drew participants from various faith groups, including Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, and Born Again Christians, in what organizers described as an interfaith call for change.
