The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the announcement of a US-brokered trilateral framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, expressing hope that it will contribute to regional stability and prevent further escalation.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the diplomatic efforts of US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in facilitating the agreement.
The ministry said it hopes the framework will help create conditions conducive to lasting regional stability and emphasized the importance of continued international coordination to prevent further humanitarian and security crises.
The UAE also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Lebanon and expressed support for the country’s efforts to consolidate state authority by ensuring that weapons remain under government control and by dismantling terrorist organizations.
The ministry reiterated the UAE’s commitment to Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, adding that it will continue supporting the Lebanese people in their pursuit of security, stability, development, and prosperity.
