Tourists and travelers from the GCC can use their country’s COVID-19 apps to update their vaccination status and PCR test results for entry into the UAE.
According to the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) the move aims to facilitate movement between GCC countries and the apps can be used to update vaccination doses and PCR tests taken outside the UAE.

The mobile applications can also be used to enter any venue that adopts the Green Pass system in the UAE.
Across Abu Dhabi, the access to public spaces is restricted to vaccinated citizens, residents, and tourists.
The Alhosn app must show a ‘green’ status after the negative PCR test result for movement in public places. (AW)
