President Bongbong Marcos took a ride on one of the Philippine Air Force’s fighter jets to prove the capability of the country’s military air assets on Tuesday.
Clad in an aviator suit, Marcos participated in the flight capability demonstration of the PAF and took a rode an FA-50PH fighter jet.

Marcos also led the ceremonial turn over and blessing ceremony of the new C-295 medium lift aircraft of the PAF.
Malacañang said that Marcos who had a code name of ‘Lawin’ flew with Lt. Col. Malbert Maquiling on PH007.

In a statement, the Palace said that Marcos reached Zambales Intensive Military Training Area in the West Philippine Sea, where they conducted familiarization training.
After the flight, Marcos had a ceremonial toast with the pilot.

The chief executive also received a Mach Buster Patch, an FA-50PH Patch, and a Pilot Codename patch.
Marcos said that the FA-50PH fighter jets would improve the country’s maritime patrol capability, help the country to monitor the developments within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone.
