The Kapamilya network is also taking necessary precautions against the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a statement released on Tuesday, ABS-CBN said it will temporarily stop admitting studio audience to its shows starting March 10 following the government’s declaration of a state of public health emergency.
“The affected TV programs include “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP Natin ‘To,” “Magandang Buhay,” “Banana Sundae,” and “I Can See Your Voice,” the network said in a statement.
“The safety and well-being of our studio audience, artists, crew, and production teams are of utmost importance to us and we are taking this option for their protection. We feel that it is our shared responsibility to help in preventing the spread of the COVID-19,” the statement added.
On Monday, noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga’ announced that it will not be accepting studio audience for now to ensure everyone’s safety amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
