Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio wishes good health for everyone, including President Rodrigo Duterte this 2020.
“I wish for good health for everyone, including our President,” she said in an SMS message to Inquirer.net.
Moreover, the presidential daughter made the same message on her Instagram post on Wednesday.
According to previous reports, Duterte’s condition has become a hindrance for him to attend his errands due to his health woes.
He admitted that he endures chronic back pain, migraine, muscle spasms, myasthenia gravis, Barrett’s esophagus, and Buerger’s disease due to smoking during his youth and old age.
“Ang Presidente, matanda na. Wag kayong magtanong kung ang Presidente may sakit na. Lahat ng sakit nandito na sa akin kasi matanda na nga ako,” Duterte said in the interview.
However, Duterte assured that he can still perform his work despite his ailments.
The 74-year-old President celebrated the year-end holiday together with his family in Davao City.
