The National Center of Meteorology announced on Twitter that mist and fog have blanketed several areas in the country and reduced visibility to less than 1,000 meters.
Several places in the UAE including Sweihan, Al Ain – Abu Dhabi Road, Madinat Zayed, and Al Shawamekh were covered with thick fog this morning, September 9.

NCM said in their online forecast that the weather for today will be hot and hazy during daytime. There will also be light to moderate winds that may cause blowing dust especially during daytime.
Relative humidity is also expected to increase by nighttime and early morning the following day, September 10, over some coastal and internal areas.
Meanwhile, sea current is seen to be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
