Dubai Police launch dedicated online platform for lawyers

Dubai Police has launched a new digital platform exclusively for lawyers, enabling legal professionals to complete paperwork and follow up on cases 24/7 without visiting police stations.

Unveiled on January 20, during a press conference announcing the second generation of Dubai Police’s official website and smart application, the platform can be accessed securely via UAE Pass login.

The platform offers seven specialized digital legal services designed to simplify procedures, speed up transactions, and improve the experience for lawyers and legal consultants. Each registered lawyer receives a personalized digital dashboard to manage cases, consultants, and client-related requests.

Major General Saleh Abdullah Murad, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administrative Affairs, said the project goes beyond visual upgrades, delivering a full digital journey built on three pillars: service, empowerment, and vision, with a focus on accuracy, interactivity, and zero bureaucracy.

Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, described it as the “most comprehensive” release to date, developed under the highest institutional standards.

Among the new features is the smart AI consultant AiX, which guides users step by step through services, enquiries, and reports, enabling faster access to accurate information.

Brigadier Majed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, emphasized that the platform marks a qualitative shift in legal services, reducing the need for in-person visits to police stations and easing pressure on frontline services.

Hessa Murad Al Bloushi, Head of the Smart Applications Department at Dubai Police, said the platform will first be rolled out on a trial basis with a limited group of lawyers. Invitation emails will be sent to registered lawyers across Dubai to allow them to create accounts and access the platform.

Once logged in, lawyers can choose between the general services portal and the dedicated lawyers’ platform. Each user will have an individual dashboard to add consultants, manage cases, submit documents, and track requests in one place.

Seven Digital Legal Services:
• Link powers of attorney for client representation in registered cases
• Electronically sign powers of attorney securely
• Obtain Good Conduct Search Certificates for lifting circulars
• File criminal complaints on behalf of clients after verification
• Issue “To Whom It May Concern” certificates for specific cases
• Request permits for virtual visits with detainees
• Enquire about circulars and travel bans, with digital payment and case closure

Dubai Police said the platform represents a major step toward faster, more secure, and accessible digital services, aligned with Dubai’s zero-bureaucracy and digital transformation initiatives.
