Poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) sees no anomalies or irregularities in the conduct of the May 9 polls.
The citizens’ arm tapped academic experts from various universities to look into their tabulations following questions about the results of the vote.

PPCRV chairperson Myla Villanueva said there’s nothing unusual with the consistent gap of leading presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and his rival Vice President Leni Robredo.
“There is no discrepancy that we reported. We have not reported anything in terms of the matches,” Villanueva said.

PPCRV said the experts they have invited to look into possible irregularities in the partial, unofficial count of election results “did not see any irregularities.”
“Meron po tayong mga inimbitahan na mga volunteers natin, mga delegations natin na dalubhasa sa kani-kanilang different fields and base po sa kanilang pagsusuri, ay wala pa pong nakikitang iregularidad,” PPCRV Legal Director Vann Dela Cruz said in a press briefing.
