An overseas Filipina worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia was able to secretly take a video of her employer molesting her and send it to her cousin to seek help.
The OFW’s cousin, “Sarah”, said that upon receiving the video, she submitted it to various migrant groups to rescue “Hilda”, reported GMA News.
Sarah narrated that Hilda’s male employer was harassing the OFW inside the family’s kitchen before he left after his wife called him. During this time, the OFW had an idea to set up her cellphone to serve as a video recorder. Minutes after, her male employer returned and molested her.
When the OFW shared the video to her female employer, the latter got mad and threatened to harm the Filipina.
“Muntik na daw siyang paluin ng parang latigo daw po tapos tinatakot siya na huwag daw siya magsusumbong kasi pulis daw ang amo niyang lalake. Baka babaligtarin pa raw siya,” Sarah said.
Meanwhile, the Consul General in Jeddah said that he has endorsed to Vice Consul Von Ferrera of the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
