TikTok removes over 17 million videos in MENA amid child safety concerns

As debates intensify over children’s exposure to social media and harmful online content, TikTok reported removing more than 17 million videos across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for violations of its Community Guidelines in the third quarter of 2025.
