Vico Sotto’s first day in office as Pasig City Mayor was made more historical and colorful as it marked the return of Eat Bulaga’s hit ‘Sugod Bahay’ gang in the city.
Residents in San Nicolas Pasig City were the first to enjoy the segment of the hit noontime show. Ryan Agoncillo, Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola led the Sugod Bahay group.
Vic Sotto, Vico’s father then asked Pasig residents if they still remember the hit noontime show.
“Tatlong taon tayong bawal diyan pero nabigyan kayo ng permit ng mayor? Mabait si Mayor, ha?,” Vic said.
The hosts also said that residents can also enjoy ‘biko’ after the previous administration banned it as it sounds like Mayor Vico.
“Puwede na ngayon, puwede na. Kahapon nga sa inauguration, ang handa ni Vico, mga biko. Iba-ibang klase ng biko, nagkalat,” Vic added.
The hit segment was banned in the city for three years.
Vico defeated the reigning Eusebio clan in Pasig City. The family ruled Pasig for almost three decades.
