Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and the ACT-CIS party list topped the recently held overseas absentee voting in Bahrain for the Philippines’ midterm election.
With 4,985 votes, Bato was followed by Doc Willie Ong with 4,932 votes, Imee Marcos with 4,762 votes, Bong Go with 4,759 votes, and Pia Cayetano who got 4,482 votes.
For party list, the Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) supported by radio personality Erwin Tulfo, ranked first receiving 1,512. It was followed by Mocha Uson’s AA Kasosyo Party with 537 votes, and OFW Family with votes.

Canvass election returns were successfully transmitted from two precincts of the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain, headed by Ambassador Alfonso Ver, to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on May 14 at around 4 AM.
A total of 6,681 OFWs cast their votes at the Philippine Embassy during the 30-day voting period. This amounts to 24.71% of the 27,033 total registered voters in Bahrain.
