Ombudsman Samuel Martires said that he will look into possible graft and corruption in the alleged mishandling of funds in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Martires revealed that he has formed a seven-man panel to probe the corruption issues of Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC).
He added that the investigation will not spare House Speaker and PHISGOC Chairman Alan Peter Cayetano.
“Natural hindi tayo pwedeng maging selective. As long as there is an allegation of conspiracy between public and private officials wee isama lahat,” he said.
The PHISGOC was on hot waters after Senator Drilon criticized the 55-million peso price tag of the SEA Games cauldron.
