Ten students and their two teachers from Araullo High School have volunteered to repaint their school’s walls that militants had vandalized on Taft Avenue.

The Manila Public Information Office said the students were in 10th grade.

Jermaine Sarmiento, one of those who volunteered, said militants should stop vandalizing walls.

Macniel Marcellana, a mathematics teacher, said militants should not deface or destroy public property.

I think this is considered as damage to property,” Marcellana said.

The mayor for his part lauded the students’ efforts and their teachers for teaching them “very well.”
