The Taguig City Regional Trial Court has issued an arrest warrant against Kris Aquino’s former project and endorsement manager, Nicko Falcis, for violating the Access Devices Regulation Act.
To recall, the Taguig City Prosecutor said it found probable cause to charge Falcis with estafa. However, it also junked Aquino’s qualified theft charges versus Falcis.
The feud between the two of them started when Aquino accused Falcis of using a credit card that was meant for the expenses of her production company for his personal use.
The Access Devices Regulation Act was declared to “protect the rights and define the liabilities of parties in such commercial transactions by regulating the issuance and use of access devices.” The access device in this case is the credit card.
The warrant of arrest was signed by acting presiding judge Felix Reyes on March 8 with a bail set at P60,000.
Falcis has since issued a statement via Instagram regarding the Taguig court’s decision.

The arrest warrant is the latest development on Aquino and Falcis’ legal battle after the prosecutors in Makati and Pasig earlier dismissed Aquino’s qualified theft charges.
