TV host and comedian Arnaldo “Arnell” Arevalo Ignacio has been appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as Deputy Executive Director V at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
The appointment paper was signed by the president last Tuesday, January 23, reported GMA News.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Ignacio preferred to work at the agency to serve the needs of overseas Filipino workers.
Ignacio, a known supporter of Pres. Duterte, was initially appointed as AVP for the Community Relation and Services Department at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in 2016.
