A rescue helicopter crashed in Jebel Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday, December 29, killing four people aboard.
According to a top official of National Ambulance, the rescue helicopter was on its way to Jebel Jais to airlift an injured man in the mountain. However, the helicopter hit a zipline before crashing to the ground and bursting into flames, reported Gulf News.
The incident took the lives of three Emirati crew members and a foreigner.
Meanwhile, no zipline visitor was hurt due to the incident.
Jebel Jais is the location of the longest zipline in the world.
