Abu Dhabi Police showed in a video their rapid response to a road accident involving a truck and a light bus on Thursday.
They deployed an emergency air ambulance to immediately take the injured to the nearest hospital and avoid fatalities in the accident.
The injured Asian drivers were airlifted to Al Rahba Hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving a report on the incident, the Command and Control Center of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations Department carefully planned their response.
Brigadier Salim bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Director of Traffic Department of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Department, said that as per their preliminary investigations the the accident took place due to the wrong turn of the truck driver.
The police official reminded motorists to take extra caution while behind the wheel and adhere to the traffic line.
He also cautioned motorists to avoid sudden deviation and keep their attention on the road.
