The largest all-purpose, air-conditioned indoor arena in the MENA region Dubai Arena is set to open to the public next year.
Dubai Arena’s facade and paneled structure are now fully installed, while work on the external infrastructure and landscaping are still under way.
The new arena, which is expected to host sports events, concerts, and other festivals, will be able to accommodate 17,000 visitors upon completion.
“We are confident that Dubai Arena will position the city on the international entertainment touring circuit and the audiences will have the opportunity to witness the world’s most talented performers and sporting events in the heart of Dubai,” said Meraas Group Chairman Abdulla Al Habbai.
To date, the construction of the arena’s roof, façade steel structure and over 80 percent of the roof catwalks, are now completed.
“Dubai Arena has been designed to enhance the city’s reputation as a destination for world-class events and hospitality and will transform the industry throughout the Middle East,” Al Habbai added.
The new Dubai Arena is located at the Meraas lifestyle destination City Walk.
